Proud Trainer Moments

This summer has been BUSY BUSY BUSY with my riding lesson program, and all of my students have been growing more and more within their riding! I'm so proud of each and everyone of them, but here are a few outstanding moments from lessons this summer so far!

Rebekah learning to ride Savannah for the first time! This pony can be quite a handful and a very sensitive ride, but Rebekah has taken the challenge in stride!

Vivian and Levi! This pair never fails to put a smile on my face! Viv has overcome her fear of learning how to canter, and these days I almost have to pull on the brakes for her, because she's unstoppable! She's having an absolute blast out there and levi (Bay paint) has really become one of the most dependable little ponies i've ever had the pleasure of bringing along. They trust each other 100% and levi always takes care of viv and gets her around the course safely. Vivian is still getting the hang of being balanced while cantering on her own, but levi always adjusts his speed/striding for her, takes care of every distance for her, and he always finds the next fence for her, that way she can focus a good bit on herself and keeping her balance. I also took viv on her very first trail ride around the farm aboard her old time favorite, Belle (Palamino).

Last but not least is Hayley! This girl blows me away every time that she gets in the saddle! She's one of the most talented riders i've ever had the opportunity to know and train. She comes out once or twice a week outside of lessons to help me school horses and she's so valuable to this program as well as me. It's been an absolute pleasure getting to watch her grow within her riding journey, and I know without a doubt she will go so far within this sport and industry. She even got to ride my personal horse (black mare) in a group lesson for the first time just for kicks. I don't normally use my horse for lessons, however I figured it would be a good learning opportunity for both. She also helps me school Charming (Buckskin) regularly, and she will be helping me get Dallas (Bay paint) back in riding shape as well!
