Superman

This horse has really turned over a new leaf since joining us at Brookhaven Stables! He used to be a prior ranch horse in his previous home, but now we work a lot on dressage with him to help strengthen himself and move more correctly. When I first started working with him, he was extremely stiff, defensive, and he had an attitude the size of Texas.We've worked quite a bit on becoming soft throughout his entire body and he's really been trying his hardest to please. We are fortunate enough to have an AMAZING chiropractor on our team, Jennifer Bensen with Performance Animal Chiropractic (Check her out on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/PerformanceAnimalChiropractic ) She came out a few weeks ago to work on several of our boarding horses as well as my own, and she got the chance to help us with Superman, aka "Manny". It turns out he had quite a few issues and setbacks which in return was causing a huge amount of tension and discomfort within our training. After one session with Jennifer, Manny was loose as a spaghetti noodle and probably the most relaxed i've ever seen a horse be lol since then he feels like a completely different horse under saddle. He's so much softer, more supple, compliant, willing to please, more balanced, and most definitely stronger! I'm so happy with this horse and I will always support and endorse equine chiropractic work! It's 600% worth the investment!
